Baby's First Year

We are especially honored and excited to have the opportunity to photograph your beautiful baby during the first year of life ... During that first year, your baby will undergo transformations almost weekly, so our Baby Plan is designed to assure that we capture keepsake photographs of every milestone!

Nothing is sweeter than a tiny newborn baby, just waking up to this world. During the first two weeks of life, we create newborn portraits, capturing simplicity in beautiful artistic images that will forever remind you of how tiny and innocent they were.

At three to four months, baby is beginning to hold his or her head up while lying on their belly. You’ll see the social side start to shine with lots of smiles and cooing. We’ll be sure to capture these new skills and strength in milestone photographs so you will have “forever” memories of that awesome time in your life.

Your baby’s eight to nine month session will involve sitting, crawling a bit, and of course lots of smiles and giggles. It’s very important to be sure to come in before they actually take those first steps (even before the time gets close!), because once they do, getting them to sit or crawl for any length of time will be virtually impossible. Baby's job is to learn new skills, and will completely lose interest in the old once the new begins to appear!

At one year of age, your last “first year” session will take place. We will arrange for a bouquet of balloons in the color of your choice to be at the studio waiting for your session, as well as a "smash cake!" Once we’ve captured photos in your favorite outfit, we’ll then let baby have fun with the cake! These are adorable, nostalgic-feeling photos that are funny and oh-so-memorable.
